I am about half way through the audio book of The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in “Healthy” Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain. This book has been extremely intriguing to me from the beginning and I’m ready to jump head-first into the Plant Paradox Program. I was going to order a physical copy of The Plant Paradox, but while searching on Amazon, I opted for The Plant Paradox Quick and Easy: The 30-Day Plan to Lose Weight, Feel Great, and Live Lectin-Free.
Dr. Steven Gundry’s 30-Day plan is broken down into three phases: Kick Start, Repair and Restore, and Maintenance. I plan to start with a phase prior to his ‘Kick Start’. I am beginning this experiment with a 60 hour fast where I will only be consuming water, black coffee, and LMNT Electrolyte Hydration Powder as required.
I do not have any of the autoimmune issues that Dr. Gundry talks about in his book, but I am extremely interested in becoming healthier. I look forward to see what improvements can be made in thirty days as far as the way I feel. Since I lost about 80 pounds, my weight has been at a stand-still around 180lbs. No matter what I do, I have been unable to rid myself of some remaining fat in my mid-section. Maybe The Plant Paradox Program is what I need to begin the final step of my weight-loss/fat-loss.
